What after JEE Main Paper 2 result?

NTA will release the JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 result (January session) on January 31. Candidates will be able to check their result of JEE Main Paper 2 through the official website using their application number and Password or application number and date of birth. JEE Main 2020 paper 2 result will include the subject-wise NTA scores and total NTA scores of the candidates. JEE Main 2020 Paper 2, which is conducted for B.Arch and B.Planning, was held on January 6 in two shifts.


What after JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 result

After the declaration of JEE Main Paper 2 result, qualified candidates can either prepare for the JEE Main April session exam or wait to participate in the counselling process which will be conducted tentatively in the third week of June by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

JEE Main 2020 April Session

NTA has released the important dates of the April session of JEE Main 2020. The application process for the April session will start from February 7 and candidates will be able to apply in online mode till March 7. JEE Main 2020 April session will be conducted on April 5, 7 to 9 and 11.

JoSAA 2020 Counselling
JoSAA 2020 counselling will be conducted in online mode. All the qualified candidates will have to register to participate in the process. Candidates can refer to the given steps to understand the process of JoSAA counselling.



Registration - In the first step, the candidates will have to register themselves by entering basic details like candidate’s nationality, state code of eligibility, gender, etc.Candidates will have to use their JEE Main 2020 roll number and password/ JEE Advanced login credentials to register.
Choice Filling - After registration, candidates will have to fill their choice of courses and colleges from the available list. The courses and colleges for which the candidates will be eligible according to their qualification (JEE Main or JEE Advanced) will be listed out in online mode.
Choice Locking - Finally, the candidates will have to lock their selected choices within the specified time limit. It should be noted that no changes can be made to the choices after locking them. Candidates should also take a print out of the locked choices for future reference.

The final seat allotment will be done on the basis of availability of seats, category of candidates and choices locked by them.
