What is the process to fill the KCET 2020 application form?

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance examination which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to undergraduate courses. Candidates seeking admission will be able to fill out the online KCET application form 2020 tentatively in the first week of February.


Steps to fill out KCET Application Form 2020

To fill out the application form, candidates will be required to complete the following steps
  1. Registration
  2. Filling of Kcet application form
  3. Uploading scanned images
  4. Payment of application fee
  5. Submission of application form

  • Registration - Candidates will have to first submit the nationality and school board along with the 13 digits “Student Number” PUE Department. Candidates will also have to submit the personal and contact details. Upon successful submission, authorities will send the application number and password to the candidates.
  • Filling the application form- In the next step, candidates will have to submit other asked details such as personal details, communication details, academic details, and previous KCEt details.
  • Uploading scanned images - After entering all the required details, candidates will have to upload the scanned photograph, signature and left thumb impression as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.
  • Photograph - 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm (Size - 5 to 40 KB)
  • Signature - 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm (Size - 4 to 40 KB)
  • Thumb Impression -  3.5 cm x 1.5 cm (Size - 4 to 40 KB)
  • Payment of application fee - Candidates will also be required to make the payment of the application fee through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan).

  • Submission of application form - Finally, after completing all the above steps, candidates should take a print out of the application form and get it attested by the Principal of 12th standard of the institute/school/college that they are currently studying at or by any Gazetted Officer.
Candidates should note that the authorities will not verify the information provided by the candidates during online application. It will be a sole responsibility of candidates to fulfil the eligibility criteria.
